Weekly Message: 1/24/2021

Greetings and Happy Sunday!

I hope all is well with all of you. This week in ENE 489 we will look at the sources and types of air pollutants.  We'll also review relevant chemistry and mass and energy balances, in the context of air pollution. In addition to the lecture notes (which are posted on LON-CAPA), the review material (from the reading, reviewing, reflecting week) should be especially helpful.  Additional reading material is posted in the "Reading material" folder - "Fundamentals of Air Pollution" subfolder.  Links to the Overview and History of Air Pollution lectures are provided on LON-CAPA.

Participation Question 1 is open and your response is due this Monday 1/25 at 11:59 pm.

Homework 1 is also open and is due Monday 2/1 at 11:59 pm and includes 3 parts (in separate sub-folders).

You can also check due dates using the calendar function on LON-CAPA:

Please let me know if you have any questions.  "See" you in class on Monday!

All the best,

Dr. Masten
