Happy Monday, I apologize for the lateness of this weekly message. I don't have any good excuse - I just forgot to write it. I all of you had a wonderful weekend. I took some time to get in three very nice walks (and over 10 miles). Although it doesn't look like it in the photos, Spring is really here. On Sunday, I walked in the Ingham County Conservation District in Mason with a friend. We saw (and heard) geese, wood ducks, mallard ducks, turtles, wood frogs, a coopers hawk, red-winged blackbird, a muskrat, merganser ducks, and spring peepers. And we saw a garter snake, along with trout lilies and skunk cabbage pushing up from the soil. We will continue control of air pollutants, focusing our discussion on gaseous pollutants. The homework on primary particulate control technologies (gravity settlers, centrifugal separators, ESPs) is due on Monday April 5. If you need the 48 h grace period, just let me know.
