Happy Sunday! I hope you have been able to take some time to relax this weekend. This past week we completed all material for ENE489. The last homework assignment and participation question are due on Monday 4/19/2021 (let me know if you need the grace period). In class on Friday, we decided to use the last two class periods for FE review sessions. Monday: Toxicology and risk calculations  Wednesday: Chemistry (with some mass balance) Project 3 is due on 4/26/2021 at 11:59 pm. If you need the 72-h grace period let me know.  I've posted the recording of Friday's discussion of the project.  The YouTube video is unlisted, the link is https://youtu.be/bmWYTBNMqis. 4/11/2021 Weekly Update

Happy Sunday,  I hope all of you are doing well! It feels good to be fully vaccinated (much better than Friday, but the fever, aches, chills for one day surely beats coronavirus).  I apologize for the length of this email message but there's a lot happening at the end of the semester. This week we will finish the unit on gaseous pollutant removal with discussions of absorption, incineration, and NOx control.  I'd also like to take some time to talk about Project 3.  This week, the homework on filtration and adsorption is due, along with participation question 12.  If you need the 48-h grace period, just let me know. The last homework assignment will be due on April 19 and will include material on absorption, incineration, and NOx control.  I've posted additional jobs and scholarships on those blog posts.  Be sure to check those out. Weekly Message 2/6/2021

  Happy Saturday! I hope you are all warm and safe away from the frigid temperatures outside. There is one advantage of the pandemic: it's nice not to have to walk to class in sub-freezing temperatures. We will continue looking at Indoor Air Quality this week.  On Friday we will have a guest lecture by Dr. Lupita Montoya, who will help us connect the IAQ issues with issues of racial injustice, especially in Latinx and Navajo communities.
